straight talk:
ALWAYS TURN OFF THE BALLAST BEFORE CONNECTING OR DISCONNECTING LAMPS, HARNESSES, OR EXTENSION CABLES.

DO NOT OPERATE ON SCR DIMMERS!

Use only with Sine wave inverters and dimmers. If powering the ballasts through a Dimmer Pack set the Dimmer to Non-Dim Mode.

To make the best use of the Kino-flo (and any high-wattage fixture) with household power, you should have some knowledge of basic electrical calculations and on-set technique.

in the May Issue of DV Magazine, or read it online here.

grip tips:
Use the holes in the 4BANK shell to secure the light to a wall or ceiling.

When gelling the light, clip gels to the barn doors, leaving room for airflow between gel and lights. Overheated bulbs can result in shifting color temperature and increased green spike in the spectrum. In overly hot environments, the egg crate can actually melt.

The lamps can operate independent of the fixture allowing them to be built into sets or custom soft boxes or hand held as a single tube for an eye-light.

The head can operate underwater without modification.  Don't drop the ballast in water!
