doorway dolly

Doorway Dolly with upright steering and sideboards

day-rate

If renting this,
also consider:

A staple of moving platforms for decades.

features:
o  platform is fitted with a recessed camera Tie down
o  non-slip carpeted
o  ground clearance is 9" or 3" when inverted
o  fits through standard 30" doorways

grip tips:
The platform can be flipped over for even lower camera positioning.

The rear wheels can be extended 8" each for greater stability, but watch how much you load.

Load the doorway dolly with gear to get to a location with ease!

Add weight bags for greater mass and a smoother camera move.

Drop the doorway dolly on top of a channel dolly and track for a smooth ride over rough terrain.

skateboard channel dolly

Channel Dolly with Skateboard Wheels

day-rate

Place the wheels of any dolly (like the doorway dolly) up to 34" wide on top of these to run them on standard dolly track.

features:
o  8 staggered wheels on each truck
o  works on older and newer 34" track systems

straight talk:
The channel dolly comes in two pieces, each with two rotating trucks of eight wheels each.  It does not operate by itself, but in concert with a dolly sitting on top.

grip tips:
Skateboard dollies like weight.  Wheels will maintain round under normal conditions. For maximum performance minimum weight load is 200lbs. Maximum load is 1500lbs. Dollies not exceeding 46" wheel base will work well with the 10' diameter curve track.

Dolly Track - Tubular - Scissor

day-rate

features:
o  may be mated with curved and other brand tracks
o  tapered pins for easy and precise connections
o  strong tubular steel holds plenty of weight
o  chrome plated for a smooth ride and easy maintenance

straight talk:
4' and 8' straight available in-house.  Other lengths and curved track available.

grip tips:
Use cribbing and track wedges to raise and level the track up to 6" from surface.

Use apple boxes to raise the track up to 24".  Do NOT set apple boxes on-end under track.

For heights above 24", rigging grips and/or carpenters should build custom support systems to assure operating safety.
